Your First Day

When you first arrive in Heartopia, Mayor Atara at the Town Hall will introduce you to the basics. Your immediate priorities are: complete the tutorial quests, meet Vanya at the riverside dock to unlock the Fishing hobby (your first hobby at D.G. Level 1), and explore Central Town to locate the key shops. Do not worry about optimizing anything on day one. Just explore, enjoy the scenery, and follow the quest markers.

After the tutorial, your daily routine should focus on one thing above all else: completing your 5 daily requests from the Town Hall bulletin board. These award 10 Contribution Medals each (50 per day), and Contribution Medals are the only way to advance your D.G. level. Missing a single day means lost progression that cannot be recovered, so make daily requests your top priority from the very start.

Early Progression Tips

At D.G. Level 2, you unlock Gardening with mentor Blanc. Start planting Tomatoes immediately because they grow in just 15 minutes, giving you fast experience and a small Gold income. At D.G. Level 5, you face your first major decision: choose between Cooking, Insect Catching, or Birdwatching as your third hobby. Most experienced players recommend Cooking first, as it generates the most Gold, but all three are viable choices.

Sell everything to Albert Jr., the roaming gold merchant. Track his daily location on the map and batch your sales for efficiency. Early on, fish and crops are your main income sources. As you unlock more hobbies and recipes, your earning potential expands dramatically.
