Heartopia's collection system tracks your progress across seven hobby collections and three item collections, awarding points and badge tiers as you fill in entries. Completing collections is one of the game's most satisfying long-term goals, providing structure and motivation across all activities. This guide covers every collection, its entry count, and tips for efficient completion.
Hobby Collections
Fish Observation (94+ species), Gourmet Life (98 recipes), Birdwatching Diary (68 species), Insects Story (69+ species), Gardening Catalog (13 crops + 13 flowers + hybrids), Kitty Time (14 cat breeds), and Doggie Time (11 dog breeds). Each collection has its own dedicated log accessible from the menu, and new entries are automatically recorded when you catch, cook, photograph, grow, or adopt the corresponding entity.
Badge Tier System
Collection points accumulate across all collections toward badge tiers: Beginner (200 points, 50 stars), Junior (1,000 points, 200 stars), Senior (4,000 points, 500 stars), and Expert (8,000 points, 800 stars). Each new collection entry awards a set number of points, with rarer entries awarding more. Reaching Expert tier across all collections is one of Heartopia's ultimate achievements.
The most efficient path to Expert tier involves focusing on the largest collections first (Fish and Recipes, at 94+ and 98 entries respectively), as these provide the most total points. Seasonal events add temporary entries that count toward collection progress, so participate in every event to catch Frostspore variants, event birds, and limited-time recipes.
