Wildlife Friend is an advanced pet achievement in Heartopia, requiring players to max the bond level with all 8 wild animal types. Unlike domesticated cats and dogs, wild animals are found in specific outdoor locations throughout the game world and require different approaches to taming and befriending. This achievement represents a deep commitment to animal welfare and exploration.

Wild animals can be encountered in forests, mountains, meadows, and coastal areas. Each species has preferred foods and interaction styles that must be discovered through trial and experimentation. Building trust with wild animals takes longer than with domesticated pets, as they are initially skittish and may flee if approached too quickly. Consistent daily visits with the right offerings gradually build the bond to its maximum level.

For efficient completion, identify where each of the 8 wild animal types can be found and establish a daily route that visits all of them. Bring a variety of food items to experiment with each species' preferences. Rainy weather can make some animals harder to find, so plan visits during favorable conditions. Wildlife Friend connects to the broader pet system alongside Cat Collector, Dog Collector, and Pet Whisperer. It is an important step toward the Hobby Master and Collector Extraordinaire achievements.
