Indifferent

Indifferent is a personality trait that produces a calm, unbothered pet with neutral reactions to most stimuli. An Indifferent cat or dog goes about its business without strong emotional displays, maintaining a serene composure regardless of what is happening around it. This trait reflects the stereotypical aloof cat personality but can appear on dogs as well.

Indifferent pets are less responsive to player interactions and environmental changes, requiring more effort to elicit visible reactions. However, this does not affect bond-building mechanics; the trait is purely behavioral and cosmetic. Some players appreciate the calm, zen-like presence of an Indifferent pet as a counterpoint to more hyperactive companions.

The Indifferent trait pairs interestingly with Quiet for an exceptionally low-key pet, or creates amusing contrast when combined with Energetic (a pet that moves around a lot but rarely reacts to anything). For completionist players, Indifferent is just as valid a target as any other trait when assembling a full collection of trait combinations.
