Timber
wood
Timber is a common wood resource in Heartopia obtained by chopping trees. It is the standard wood material used across a wide range of crafting recipes and building projects. Timber is readily available in forested areas throughout the game and serves as a fundamental building block for furniture, structures, and various workshop items.
Gathering timber requires an axe and involves chopping trees in any forested zone. Common trees yield timber reliably, and there is no daily limit on how much can be collected. Trees regenerate after being chopped, ensuring a sustainable supply. As a common-rarity resource, timber drops frequently and in decent quantities per tree, making it easy to stockpile for projects.
Timber is one of the most heavily consumed resources in Heartopia, used in furniture crafting, home construction, tool maintenance, and various upgrade recipes. Keeping a large reserve of timber in storage is recommended, as many mid-game and late-game projects require substantial quantities. Timber also appears regularly in Daily Request deliveries. For efficient gathering, target dense forest areas where multiple trees are clustered together to maximize yield per trip.
