Corn is a high-value crop in Heartopia that unlocks at Gardening Level 6 alongside the Strawberry. Seeds cost 170 coins each from Blanc in the Flower Field. Corn represents a significant investment per seed, but it rewards patient farmers with one of the better sell prices available at this stage of the game.

Growth and Profit

Corn requires 720 minutes (12 hours) to grow from seed to harvest. Each ear of Corn sells for 510 coins at base price, yielding a net profit of 340 coins per harvest. The profit-per-hour rate is approximately 28.3 coins, which is lower than faster crops on a pure efficiency basis. However, the 12-hour timer is perfectly suited for a twice-daily farming routine: plant in the morning and harvest in the evening, or vice versa. This makes Corn one of the most hands-off crops in the game.

Corn may serve as a Vegetable ingredient in recipes like Vegetable Soup, Vegetable Stir Fry, and other dishes calling for generic vegetables. For optimal farming, pair Corn with shorter-cycle crops in your remaining garden plots to keep income flowing between Corn harvests.
