Roses are the most iconic flower species in the game, offering the largest number of hybrid colors of any flower and featuring the legendary Glowing Blue variant. Reaching Level 10 and growing your first Rose is a major milestone in any Heartopia player's journey.

Growth Time and Base Colors

Roses take 18 hours to grow from seed to full bloom. They come in Red, White, and Yellow base colors, with seeds available from Blanc in the Flower Field. The 18-hour growth cycle requires planning, as harvests will shift throughout the week unless you maintain a consistent planting time. Many players choose a fixed daily planting window to stay organized.

Hybrid Colors and Breeding Tips

Roses boast an impressive five hybrid colors: Pink, Orange, Blue, Black, and the legendary Glowing Blue. The Glowing Blue Rose is the rarest and most coveted flower in Heartopia. It is unique to the Rose species and cannot be obtained from any other flower. Breeding a Glowing Blue Rose requires the Hybrid Breeding skill (unlocked at Level 10) and considerable patience. Focus on breeding Blue Roses first, then use Blue Rose offspring as parents in subsequent generations to increase your chances of the Glowing Blue mutation.

The Rose is one of only two flowers used in cooking, serving as the key ingredient in Rose Tea alongside Honey. Beyond its recipe utility, the Rose holds immense prestige value.
