His enthusiasm for culinary arts is infectious, and he takes genuine pride in helping players discover the joy of creating dishes from Heartopia's diverse ingredients. Massimo teaches the Cooking hobby, sells recipe unlocks at each cooking level, and serves as a central figure in the game's crafting economy.

Recipe Unlocks

As players increase their cooking level, Massimo makes new recipe cards available for purchase at his cafe. The recipes span every category from simple Side Dishes to elaborate Main Dishes, with prices and ingredients scaling as you progress. Some of the game's most profitable recipes, including Beef Wellington (900G), Truffle Risotto (950G), and the legendary Phoenix Feast (3,000G), are all purchased from Massimo. He also triggers the Mushroom Picking gossip quest, which unlocks the base Mushroom Pie recipe and its numerous variants.

Massimo appreciates gifts of Cooked Dishes, Complex Recipes, Rare Spices, Truffles, and Mushroom Pie. He dislikes Trash and Raw Meat.
