The Home Area is every player's personal sanctuary in Heartopia, a customizable residential zone where creativity and self-expression take center stage. Starting with just 2 home plots at D.G. Level 1, players gradually expand their property as they progress through the Developer's Guild, eventually unlocking up to 18 plots by the endgame at D.G. Level 20. Each plot can be decorated with furniture, fences, gardens, paths, and themed decorations purchased from Bob's workshop or earned through gameplay.

Gardening and Farming

Home plots double as farming spaces where players grow crops and cultivate flowers. The gardening workflow centers around planting seeds purchased from Blanc, waiting for real-time growth (ranging from 15 minutes for Tomatoes to 48 hours for Avocados), and harvesting at the best possible star quality. Flower beds support the hybrid breeding system, where careful color crossing yields rare and valuable varieties. Managing your home plots efficiently is key to sustaining a steady income and completing collection objectives.

The Home Area is also where players keep their adopted pets. Cats and dogs roam the grounds, exhibiting behaviors based on their personality traits, and building bond with your pets is a rewarding long-term goal. The area connects to the broader map via bus stops, making it easy to hop between your home and any other region for daily activities.

Decorating and expanding your home is one of Heartopia's most popular endgame activities. Players share home designs on social media, visit each other's plots in multiplayer, and compete in community decoration events. The Home Area grows with you throughout your entire Heartopia journey, evolving from a modest starter plot into a sprawling personal paradise.
