A 5-star dish represents culinary perfection within the game.

The Cooking hobby is the primary system tied to this achievement. To maximize dish quality, use 5-star quality ingredients gathered through high-level gardening, fishing, and foraging. Higher cooking levels also improve the base quality of dishes. The cooking minigame requires timing button presses correctly during the preparation phase. Practicing with simpler recipes that use readily available ingredients is a good way to learn the timing before attempting more complex dishes.

For the quickest path to Five Star Chef, choose a recipe you are comfortable with and gather the highest quality ingredients possible. Dishes using crops you grew at 5-star quality in your garden are excellent candidates. Simple recipes with fewer steps are easier to execute perfectly.
