The Carrot is a versatile and profitable crop in Heartopia, unlocking at Gardening Level 5. Seeds are available from Blanc in the Flower Field for 50 coins each. The Carrot strikes an excellent balance between growth speed, cost efficiency, and recipe utility, making it a staple crop for mid-game farmers who have just gained access to the Fertilizer Use skill.

Growth and Profit

Carrots grow in 120 minutes (2 hours), offering a manageable timer for players who check in periodically throughout the day. Each Carrot sells for 155 coins, generating a net profit of 105 coins per harvest. This translates to a profit-per-hour rate of 52.5 coins, which is solid for mid-game income. At Gardening Level 5, you also unlock the Fertilizer Use skill, which can speed up Carrot growth and further boost your hourly earnings.

Recipes and Tips

Carrots are a named ingredient in three recipes: Carrot Soup, Bibimbap, and Curry Rice. Both Bibimbap and Curry Rice are mid-to-high tier dishes that grant good experience for the Cooking hobby, so having a stockpile of Carrots is beneficial for leveling up your culinary skills. For optimal farming, plant Carrots during the day when you can return in two hours, and use Fertilizer to shave time off the growth cycle. Pair Carrot plots with Wheat plots for a balanced garden that covers both short and long harvest windows.
