D.G. Level 4

D.G. Level 4 marks the first major home expansion in Heartopia, doubling your available home plots from 2 to 4. This is a significant quality-of-life improvement that gives players more space for gardening, decoration, and creative expression. With two additional plots, you can dedicate more land to crops for income, set up dedicated flower hybridization areas, or expand your home with furniture and decorations. Level 4 represents the transition from the introductory phase into the mid-game, where players have enough tools and space to truly begin shaping their Heartopia experience.

Home Plot Expansion

Going from 2 to 4 home plots is transformative. Previously, players had to choose between growing crops and placing decorations, often sacrificing one for the other. With 4 plots, there is room for both a productive farm and an aesthetically pleasing home layout. Gardeners can now maintain larger crop rotations, growing fast Tomatoes on one plot while slow-growing Avocados mature on another. Flower enthusiasts can dedicate entire plots to hybridization experiments without sacrificing crop income. The additional space also means more room for furniture, paths, and seasonal decorations that make your Home Area uniquely yours.

Mid-Game Fishing Milestones

By D.G. Level 4, your fishing skill should be approaching or reaching Level 4, which unlocks new species across multiple zones. Burbot becomes available at Tranquil River, Butterfly Koi appears at Meadow Lake, Tadpole can be caught at Onsen Mountain Lake, and Goby becomes available at East Sea. These new catches expand your Fish Observation collection and provide better income than the early-game species. The growing number of accessible fishing zones encourages exploration of regions you may not have visited yet.

With your expanded home plots, now is the time to plan a garden layout that balances income generation with hobby progression. Dedicate at least one plot to a continuous crop rotation for steady Gold, and use another for flower experimentation. Visit Blanc at the Windmill to stock up on the seed varieties now available at your gardening level. For fishing, make a point to visit new zones that have opened up at Fishing Level 4, as each zone offers unique species that contribute to collection completion and D.G. Medal progress.
