D.G. Level 7

D.G. Level 7 introduces Painting features to Heartopia, adding a creative expression system that lets players capture and share the beauty of the game world. With 5 home plots still available, this level focuses on expanding the artistic side of gameplay rather than physical space. Painting complements the existing hobby portfolio by providing a distinctly different type of activity, one centered on observation, aesthetics, and personal expression rather than resource gathering or collection completion.

Painting Features

The Painting system at Level 7 opens up creative possibilities that engage with Heartopia's visual design in a direct way. Players can set up easels at scenic locations throughout the game world, from the flower-covered banks of Rosy River to the panoramic views of Onsen Mountain Ridgeline. Painting captures the atmosphere and beauty of each location, producing artwork that can be displayed in your Home Area, gifted to NPCs, or shared with other players. The feature rewards exploration and encourages players to visit locations they might otherwise overlook, as every corner of Heartopia has scenic potential.

Mid-Game Progression

By D.G. Level 7, players are firmly in the mid-game phase with multiple active hobbies, a vehicle for efficient travel, and 5 home plots to manage. The combination of Fishing, Gardening, your chosen expansion hobbies, and now Painting creates a rich daily routine with plenty of variety. D.G. Medal generation should be coming from multiple sources, and the key to efficient progression is rotating between activities rather than grinding a single hobby. Each hobby level gained, collection entry completed, and quest finished contributes medals toward the next level.

With Painting unlocked, take time to explore Heartopia's most visually striking locations with fresh eyes. Purple Light Beach at sunset, the Windmill Flower Field in full bloom, and the steam-shrouded Onsen Mountain Lake all offer excellent painting subjects. For fishing, Level 7 unlocks the Three-Spined Stickleback at Shallow River during rain and the European Eel at Old Sea during Rainbow weather. These catches reward players who pay attention to weather conditions and plan their sessions accordingly. Continue building toward Level 8, which brings another home plot and the fourth Hobby Expansion Ticket.
