Chatterbox

Chatterbox is a personality trait that can be randomly assigned to cats and dogs adopted from Mrs. Joan's pet adoption center. A pet with the Chatterbox trait loves to vocalize, producing frequent meows, barks, or other sounds along with more speech bubbles appearing above their head. This trait makes for a lively and communicative companion that fills your Home Area with personality.

In gameplay terms, Chatterbox pets create more ambient sound and visual feedback than quieter pets. Players who enjoy an active, noisy household tend to appreciate this trait, while those who prefer a calmer atmosphere might prefer the Quiet or Indifferent traits instead. The Chatterbox trait pairs well with Sociable or Clingy for a particularly interactive pet.

Since personality traits are randomly assigned at adoption (2 traits per pet from a pool of 11), getting a specific combination requires multiple adoptions. Chatterbox is one of the more distinctive traits, making pets with this trait easy to identify by their frequent vocalizations during daily home visits.
