Welcome to Heartopia

Welcome to Heartopia is the opening main story quest that introduces new players to the world of Heartopia. The quest has three objectives: speak with Mayor Atara at the Town Hall, take a tour of Central Town, and meet your first hobby mentor. This quest establishes the game's core setting and introduces the NPC cast, town layout, and basic gameplay mechanics. It is the very first quest every player completes.

Completing Welcome to Heartopia rewards players with 100 Gold and 10 Contribution Medals. While the rewards are modest, this quest is critical because it unlocks access to the rest of the game's content. Meeting your first hobby mentor opens the door to the hobby system, which is the foundation of nearly all progression in Heartopia. The tour of Central Town also reveals key locations like shops, the fishing spot, garden plots, and NPC residences.

This quest is straightforward and can be completed in just a few minutes by following the on-screen prompts. Take time during the town tour to familiarize yourself with the map layout, as efficient navigation becomes important later. After completing Welcome to Heartopia, the Learn to Fish and Green Thumb Beginnings quests become available, beginning the hobby tutorial chain. This quest connects to the broader D.G. Level progression system and sets the stage for the entire Heartopia experience.
