D.G. Level 9 is a consolidation phase in Heartopia's progression, maintaining 6 home plots while players focus on deepening their engagement with existing systems. While this level does not introduce a headline new feature like vehicles or painting, it represents a period where the cumulative benefits of all previous unlocks create an increasingly rich and rewarding gameplay experience. The steady accumulation of hobbies, tools, and home plots means that daily sessions at Level 9 are full of variety and productive activity.

Deepening Existing Systems

At D.G. Level 9, players should be pushing their hobby levels toward their maximums. Fishing at Level 9 unlocks several premium catches: Northern Pike at Suburban Lake (610G base), Pumpkinseed at Onsen Mountain Lake, and Moonfish at Zephyr Sea during Rainbow weather (850G base). In Whale Sea, the Bluefin Tuna (850G base, Rainbow only) also becomes available at Fishing Level 9. These are among the most valuable fish in the entire game, and successfully landing them provides substantial Gold income. Gardening should be producing high-star crops consistently, and your expansion hobbies should be contributing regular collection entries and D.G. Medals.

Preparing for Late Game

Level 9 is an excellent time to assess your overall progression and identify any gaps. Review your Fish Observation collection for missing species, check which flower hybrids you have not yet created, and evaluate which NPCs could benefit from increased gifting attention. The jump from Level 9 to the double-digit levels brings you closer to significant unlocks like the Hobby Expansion Ticket #5 at Level 11 and the Cat Care and Dog Care hobbies at Level 12. Planning ahead for these milestones ensures you are ready to take full advantage of them when they arrive.

For daily gameplay at Level 9, prioritize high-value fishing during Rainbow weather. The Moonfish at Zephyr Sea and Bluefin Tuna at Whale Sea each have 850G base prices, meaning 5-star catches sell for 4,250G each. These single catches can fund multiple pet adoptions (500G each) once you reach Level 12. Continue rotating through your hobbies for medal generation, and use your vehicle to cover multiple regions in each play session. The Northern Pike at Suburban Lake (610G) is available in all weather conditions, making Suburban Lake a reliable Gold-farming destination at this level.
